Devastating hurricanes have become all-too-frequent occurrences in the United States, with vulnerable communities often bearing the burden of the worst impact. Each year, hundreds of people create fundraisers on the GoFundMe platform asking for help in the wake of a destructive hurricane.

This fund was created to provide direct relief to people impacted by a hurricane. Your donation will ensure this fund can quickly support as many people as possible as soon as a disaster strikes.

We are currently supporting relief and recovery efforts related to the wildfires burning in L.A. County by sending emergency relief grants of $1,000 each to individuals who have lost homes, loved ones and property due to the Palisades, Eaton and Hurst fires.
We’re sending grants out as quickly as we can verify beneficiaries, getting emergency funds into the hands of survivors who are in desperate need of temporary shelter, food, clothing and other essential supplies.

Every day, hundreds of Americans start fundraisers on GoFundMe for their most basic necessities like groceries, housing, utilities, and more. The Essentials Fund distributes cash grants to help individuals make ends meet and find paths to stability.

The Weather Resilience Fund supports local resilience efforts, ensuring that vulnerable communities are better prepared for, and can adapt to, increasingly intense weather conditions and weather-fueled natural disasters.

The Education Opportunity Fund supports educators and organizations dedicated to helping students grow. Donations reimburse teachers for classroom supplies, help to bridge gaps in educational resources, and support new avenues of learning, so more students can thrive.

The Altadena Town Council has established the Altadena Eaton Fire Relief Fund to provide critical support to our neighbors who are recovering from the devastating Eaton Fire. The fund will be managed by an Advisory Committee of trusted town leaders who will oversee the fund’s structure, holdings, and eventual distribution, to ensure an equitable and transparent allocation of resources. The Altadena Eaton Fire Relief Fund is an Altadena-centered relief fund with proceeds to be directly dispersed to Altadena fire survivors.
