As college students around the country approach the midpoint of their fall semester, they have plenty on their mind: settling into campus life, studying for midterms, thinking about plans for the rest of the year. But for thousands attending college in the Southeast, the destruction from Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton has left them with more urgent questions: Where can I live? How can I rebuild? Can I really afford to stay in school? To help meet students’ urgent needs, donations to this fund will enable disaster relief emergency cash grants of up to $500 to affected students in North Carolina and Florida. This program is made possible by a partnership with Scholarship America and Target.

Ruidoso, NM is facing unprecedented wildfires that have already claimed at least one life, displaced thousands of families, and destroyed homes. The urgency of this situation cannot be overstated, and immediate action is crucial to support those affected. We are mobilizing funds to address the most pressing needs of the evacuees.
