United Way North Carolina, its 211 Helpline, Prezzee, and GoFundMe.org have joined forces to raise funds for families whose lives were turned upside down when Hurricane Helene struck. Donations to this fund will go toward unrestricted cash grants of $200 to help people impacted pay for desperately needed supplies like food, water, clothing, and diapers.

As college students around the country approach the midpoint of their fall semester, they have plenty on their mind: settling into campus life, studying for midterms, thinking about plans for the rest of the year. But for thousands attending college in the Southeast, the destruction from Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton has left them with more urgent questions: Where can I live? How can I rebuild? Can I really afford to stay in school? To help meet students’ urgent needs, donations to this fund will enable disaster relief emergency cash grants of up to $500 to affected students in North Carolina and Florida. This program is made possible by a partnership with Scholarship America and Target.

GoFundMe.org partnered with Robyn Sue Fisher, a San Franciso local, to fiscally sponsor “I Scream Love” which Robyn started in response to a hate crime at her flagship ice cream shop, this initiative is a city-wide movement to foster unity through the simple joy of ice cream. The Weather Resilience Fund supports local resilience efforts, ensuring that vulnerable communities are better prepared for, and can adapt to, increasingly intense weather conditions and weather-fueled natural disasters.

Campus Catalyst Grants, managed by Community Sponsorship Hub, provide funding directly to higher education institutions, enabling their campus sponsor groups to welcome refugee students through the Welcome Corps on Campus. Your donation enables colleges and universities to participate in this ground-breaking U.S. Department of State program and build systems that make sponsorship of refugee students a reality in the United States.

This fund, organized by Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, benefits Flexport.org and Airbnb.org, two organizations that are providing immediate humanitarian aid and housing to Ukrainian refugees.

This fund launched after the surge in violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
